Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology influencing diplomacy, foreign policy formulation, and international cooperation. Governments and international organizations increasingly employ AI-driven systems for data analysis, crisis prediction, negotiation support, and public diplomacy. This study quantitatively examines the impact of AI on contemporary diplomatic practices and international cooperation. A survey of 300 respondents comprising diplomats, policymakers, international relations scholars, and graduate students was conducted using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability testing, correlation analysis, and multiple regression techniques. Results reveal that AI adoption significantly improves diplomatic efficiency, decision-making quality, international collaboration, and crisis management capabilities. However, concerns regarding cybersecurity, algorithmic bias, and ethical governance remain significant. The study concludes that while AI offers substantial opportunities for diplomatic innovation, comprehensive international governance frameworks are necessary to ensure responsible and equitable utilization.
