Abstract

In this research article, (2 + 1) dimension space-times are categorized, depending on the probability of transforming into a double-null form. Results orig-inate that those classes of (2 + 1)−dimensional space-times that have non-zero co-efficients, g02 or g12, are unable to transform to a desirable form. Further, it is also confirmed that a class of (3 + 1)−dimensional space-times possessing non-zero coefficients, g02 or g12, cannot be transformed to a double-null form.
