Abstract

The level of female political involvement represents a fundamental guideline for community growth therefore developing nations such as Pakistan require their active leadership. This study aims to understand the legal framework, strategies that promote gender equality and the role of institution in electoral process. Qualitative method was use to collect the data and analyze the data. Data was collect through purposive sampling technique from eight MPA and then analyze it thematically. The findings highlight that domestic legal frameworks promoting gender equality face limitations due to inadequate enforcement and lack of awareness. The study highlights the need for comprehensive strategies, including skill development, fostering political awareness, and institutional support, to create an inclusive political environment. These findings provide actionable insights and policy recommendations to enhance women political engagement and advance gender equality in politics.
