Social Isolation among Youth: A Digital Era and Modern Contingencies of Life

Abstract

This study has been designed to examine social isolation among youth during digital era and modern contingencies of life. Digital technology has reshaped the social fabric of individuals at all levels including developed and developing countries. A Qualitative study has been conducted. The data has been extracted from different digital databases including Google Scholar, Tylor & Francis, Sage, Emerald, & other digital repositories. A purposive sampling has been used to select the public research documents on the subject. The inclusion criteria have been based on the public research document relevant to social isolation among youth digital era and modern technologies. Thematic analysis has been done; the data has been presented in the results and discussion section to draw result and conclusion. The study findings assert that social isolation among youth during digital era and modern contingencies of life have impacted the social fabrics of youth in all over the world and Pakistan has no exemption. Digital technology has reshaped the social aspects of individuals at all levels including developed and developing countries.
